Spirituality is as practical and necessary as hard-nosed science. It is not, as some critics put it, “just another lens” for seeing the world around us; it’s THE WAY we see it. To continue to refine our “lens” is to grow spiritually. Faith communities are those sacred spaces where we find the tools we need for the refining process.
