Walnut tree stump made into a pulpit

Our pulpit. Walt Lab, former art professor at Modesto Junior College and a long-time member, made this out of a walnut stump turned up-side down, many years ago. It has a lot of nooks and crannies for speakers to stash notes, props, water and such. Our Tibetan gong lives in the stump.

Next: our stained-glass windows.
