A liberal religious voice in the Central Valley since 1953.

This is a church web site. We sometimes come up first in Google when people look for news of Modesto. If that is what you wanted, try The Modesto Bee, the largest newspaper in Stanislaus County. If you believe that most religions are different paths up the same mountain, you might want to learn more about us, even though you found us by accident.

We have complete details for these events in the newsletter, or you can call the church between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday - Friday, at (209) 545-1837.

Church Council
Saturday, June 7, 2008
Johnson Room, 8:30 am

As our church programs grow in number and complexity we need to assure communication, coordination, and a workable calendar. The Church Council is an informal meeting of officers, committee chairs and anyone interested in our church. These meetings make sure the Building Committee won't schedule a work party to dig up the lawn on the same Saturday we have a Mother-Daughter Garden Tea.

[Ed. Note: This page was as boring to compose as it must be to read. There is a time for soaring prose and a time to put as many facts as you can, clearly and plainly. No one reads a bus schedule for fun. If you want to read something with a bit of variety, try the editorial comment about courage on our Children's page.]
