A liberal religious voice in the Central Valley since 1953.

[This is one of the status reports on our new classroom building. Fernando Ramirez, SCS, was marvelously conscientious about keeping us updated throughout the summer of 2010.]

In the past week we have accomplished the following:

  • Installed the stabilizing modular jacks.

  • Completed the rough plumbing to the underside of the units.

  • Recieved the the CMU [Concrete Masonary Unit] block that will cap both open ends of the underside of the modular units. It is on site with installation starting Monday.

  • The interior finisheing by Pacific Mobile Modular is in progress.

This coming week’s activities include:

  • Completion of the CMU.

  • Begin the electrical work.

  • Survey to re-establish grades.

  • (Possibly) Begin the Fine grading process.

Summary:

We will be meeting with Rev. Grace Simons on Tuesday to review overall progress.

See seven pictures from the day they installed the building. (450 KB)
