A liberal religious voice in the Central Valley since 1953.

[This is one of the status reports on our new classroom building. Fernando Ramirez, SCS, was marvelously conscientious about keeping us updated throughout the summer of 2010.]

In the past week we have accomplished the following:

  • We were able to grade the South property line and re-install the cattle fence so the property owner next door now has full usage. Once the project nears completion we will hand grade along the fence line as well.

  • Completed the French Drain System as planned.

  • We’ve installed a portion of the fire line as well as the hydrant.

  • Dug the foundation footings for the Modular Units, with form work beginning next week.

This coming week’s activities include:

  • Setting form work for the foundation. We anticipate pouring the foundation by the end of next week.

  • We’re set to mobilize equipment on Tuesday for drilling the water well. Hope to be completed by the end of next week

Summary:

The project is slightly ahead of schedule with no potential delays.

We’re on schedule to set the Modular Buildings on July 20, 2010.
