These are some pictures of some things we do. You can read a more comprehensive, but less illustrated account, on our Social Action pages.

Eusebio Laron Torres of Peru Eusebio Laron Torres, EqEx Farmer. We sell Equal Exchange coffee on the first and third Sunday of every month. Equal Exchange is a co-op that markets fair-trade, organic, shade-grown coffee. (It tastes great, too.) The co-op supports small farmer co-ops and promotes sustainable farming methods. They partner with co-operatives who provide high-quality organic coffees, teas, chocolates and snacks from farmers all over the world. Read more, at www.equalexchange.coop.

We sell their chocolate as well, especially around the holidays. Mr. Torres, to your left, is a cacao farmer in Peru whose co-op partners with Equal Exchange. (Photo courtesy of Equal Exchange, used with permission.)

We prepare and serve a meal for 100 homeless people on the second Monday of the month, November through April. It is an inter-faith effort. The Modesto Church of the Brethern lets us use their kitchen. The Salvation Army runs the shelter, with the help of many of Modesto's churches. Bigger churches prepare and serve a meal once a week.

We also support Modesto Family Promise, (modestofamilypromise.com), a program that feeds and shelters homeless families.
We prepare lunches for Habitat for Humanity (www.stanislaushabitat.org) work crews.
We don't have pictures for those projects at the moment.
