A liberal religious voice in the Central Valley since 1953.

Our Calendar page is supposed to have "upcoming" events, and our News page is supposed to have "past" events, but this has caused confusion.

We update the Calendar page once a month, about the 20th. So, on the 19th, it is likely to have a number of past items on it. They are there partly because we don't have time to delete the old ones every day, partly to show our gentle readers what sorts of things we do during the year. It is easier to show "eclectic" than to spell it. Items on the Calendar page will have a date, time, place and a squib about what is supposed to happen. It is as comprehensive as we can make it. It should have one item about everything that goes on at the Fellowship.

Our News page has pictures and articles of what actually happened. It can be a major event, like the dedication of our new classroom building, or a minor one, like a group photo of the guys who wore Hawaiian shirts to the Father's Day BBQ potluck.

Our retired minister, Rev. Grace wrote, in 2010: "A number of folks I sent to our website couldn't find the Dedication things because they thought 'News' wouldn't have anything that new ...".

Oh ye of little faith! Some Sunday afternoons the web master hooks up the magic cord that goes between his camera and computer, selects the two out of twelve pictures in which everyone's eyes are open, writes an account of the event and has that Sunday's "News" on-line before he eats dinner. If is is a major event, it will be there within a day or two.

The News page isn't comprehensive. Some groups meet every week, or every month. Each meeting will have an item on the Calendar page, but they will rarely, if ever, make the News page.
