A liberal religious voice in the Central Valley since 1953.

We have an auction every year; members donate goods or services, other members buy them. We make anywhere from $12,000 to $16,000 per year, thanks to an impressive array of talent among our members, a generous membership, and healthy appetites. These are the items offered for the Auction in 2010, to give you an idea of what works. These are the long descriptions, from our annual catalog. They are in broad categories;
Vacations and Day Trips,
Food, (our most popular category)
Classes,
Goods,
Services

[Many of the items, especially the dinners, are for more than one person. Unless noted, minimum and winning bids are per person; so, for instance, Marcia's "Up North" Salmon BBQ had 8 bids at $130 each, and she netted our fellowship $1,040.]

Vacations and Day Trips

A Week in a Cottage in Seaside, Oregon
Spend a week in a fully furnished cottage with three bedrooms that sleep six (two queens and two twins) one and a half bathrooms, and a fireplace. There is a long beach with a promenade, a small aquarium, and Lewis and Clark salt works. It is a very family oriented town. Seaside is about fifteen miles from the Astoria and the Columbia Rivers.
